2. No tracking, no cookies
This website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics or marketing tools. No profiles are created and no data is transferred to advertising networks or social networks. We process personal data only to the extent described below.
3. Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When the site is accessed, technically necessary data transmitted by your browser is processed automatically (in particular IP address, date and time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser and operating system information). This data is required for the secure and stable operation of the website.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the technical provision and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exists with the hosting provider. Log files are stored only as long as necessary for these purposes and are then deleted.
4. Contact and trial request
When you use the form on the "Try 14 days free" page or contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide in order to handle your request. Via the form this may be: name, company, email address, phone number, address, carriers used, monthly shipping volume, available data sources, and your message. In addition, the time of the request and the IP address are stored.
The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contractual relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing name, company and email address is required to process the request; all other details are voluntary.
Your request is stored on our server and additionally sent to us by email at the address above; the email is sent via our own mail server, and no transfer to third parties takes place. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required for the respective purpose, at the latest once statutory retention periods have expired.
5. Disclosure of data
Your personal data is not transferred to third parties, except to our hosting provider as a processor (see section 3) or where we are legally obliged to do so. Data is not sold. No transfer of data to countries outside the EU/EEA is intended.
6. Your rights
Within the limits of the law you have at any time the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, contact us at the details above.
Irrespective of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
